Arrive to Croatia by automobile

To travel the streets of croatia by car you need a valid driver license and an automobile registration card.
Tolls are collected on highways and some bridges.
Speed limits are, unless otherwise stated:

  • 50 km/h - residential areas
  • 80 km/h - outside of the residential areas
  • 130 km/h - highways

    • There is 0.0 tolerance in blood alcohol level.
    Use of seatbelt is mandatory.
    Mobile phone use while car is in motion is prohibited.
    Daylight headlights are required.
